The story of where this model came from and how it ended up in its present state is long and moving. Sadly, I only took place in the last part of the story, so I only know the ending. What I do know is that Paul Steed modeled this character as a tribute to Caryn 'Hellchick' Law, Action Producer at Gamespy (and much, much more). As I understand it, somewhere between Ken Scott skinning the model and it being released, Paul left id. It sat on the shelf for a while before Ken Scott passed it on to Hellchick so that she could find a way to have it finished. After a few more months on the shelf, I emailed her and asked permission to finish the model. She said yes, and now, many months later, it is released.

Animation Notes
---------------
When I received this model to work on I had high hopes of pushing the Q3A animation system to its limits. I ended up going too far. The model is segmented so that the entire body minus the right arm is the lower.md3. I had originally hoped that this would let me do full body animations for the most important sequences, the run and backpedal. It did, but as a result, the model suffers some shortcomings in terms of fluidity, upper body animations, and the head model. I also animated extra long death sequences, which I am proud of, but which sometimes look strange to other players. Trust me when I say I worked hard to take care of the many bugs in this model, but the only real solution would be to re-animate it with different segmentation.

Thanks:
- as always to Rogue13 and the whole crew at polycount for being the best community on the net
- Tim Evison for all his efforts in helping me to get the export to work, as well as the Brothers Grim. They get even more thanks along with Sniper1 for giving me feedback on the animations.
- Hellchick for taking a chance on me to finish this model, and then being incredibly paitient while I took months to do so.

I appreciate any and all feedback and can be reached at docrob10@yahoo.com
